spring in amsterdam

as bf and i are planning our trip to europe late spring i am having a hard time thinking about things like work, bills, errands, laundry............everytime i am faced with chores i think, oh, maybe i should go do some research....i am so excited about being in amsterdam and barcelona in the late spring, we are renting a houseboat on a canal in amsterdam for five nights then off to spain......ugh, couldn't come fast enough.
